Scientific data demonstrates the deterioration of the air in buildings over the last 50 years. Chemical pollutants cause more and more health problems. Plants have the capacity to depollute the air and create oxygen. The idea is to design a modular green wall system where plants, water and light create an « interior lung » to enhance air quality and create a luminous positive effect on workers and users. The plants are carefully chosen for their detoxifying and aesthetic qualities, while the light is provided by ecoefficient LEDs.Engineering, Industrial Design, Interior Design2012 -
Ping Pong is a wireless cooking assistant that allows you to optimize your time whilst food is being heated. Sensors (the ‘Pings’) are attached to the cooking utensils in use. For instance, if you’re cooking a soup, place the Ping transmitter on the pan’s rim and take the Pong receiver with you to the next room. The Ping transmitter will send information on the cooking status to the Pong receiver close to you and so keeping you informed. The design is inspired by a vase full of flowers ensuring your new kitchen assistant looks good and puts a smile on your face.Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design2012 -
Garden cultivation in cities is a real challenge for people living in apartments due to the shrinking living space. NIDA offers the opportunity to the modern urban society to grow their own gardens by utilizing public spaces designed for this purpose. Residents who want to grow their own gardens can borrow or rent a plot to the town. This new approach of garden cultivation in cities will benefit both the users, public pedestrians and the environment of the area. These urban gardeners will discover a new way of gardening, as having their personal gardens in public area is very uncommon. This is also a beautiful way to enhance public furniture with greeneries while the residents grow their own food. NIDA combines both functions and beauty; the recreation of agricultural activities while decorating the urban landscape.Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Landscape Design2012 -
“Six dix et six plis brillent” is a copper lamp that puts a great emphasis on the material and its specific features. The lamp takes advantage of the ductility of the metal to design its sphere-shaped module. This module naturally tends to come back to its original flat shape and thus applies a small pressure on each side that makes it mechanically fit in the disks located at each pole.
The lamp is thereby designed with only two different shapes in order to reduce the manufacturing process. No tools are needed, just the customer’s hands to assemble the parts. When you live with copper, you see time impacting and transforming the product every day.
Time and oxidation that goes along literally continue working on the material and thus make the product unique to every user. The copper and its evolutions re-invent the product and redefine its dentity. To make sure this oxidation happen, copper undergoes really little surface finishing.
By focusing on the copper features and its evolution to endlessly re-invent its identity and reflect the flying time, this lamp is a great example of how material itself can at the heart of a product’s function and identity.Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Product Design2012 -

Whether the air conditioner is being used to heat or cool a place, the internal system produces a large amount of water due to condensation. All the air-conditioners on the market resolve this excess water by draining or evaporating it into the air. The idea is to avoid wasting this water, but to collect it and reuse it to grow grass horizontally. The main benefit is that it not only brings a touch of greenery to the environment, but purifies the air as well. A LED light located behind the frontrale window both indirectly illuminates the grass and creates mood lighting for dark spaces.Engineering, Furniture Design, Industrial Design2012 -
The “pelote basque” is a traditional ball sport played in the south of France. We revisited this unique formula, resulting in this unusual game called “Hook” that can be enjoyed by family and friends.
The rules are easy. By inflating the blue plastic area, the hand of the player is cushioned. Therefore, the “Hook” becomes an extension of the arm and the player has to control it in order to pass the ball. You can use it in three different ways: you can attack with the “Hook” (chistera), defend yourself with the backhand or stop the ball with the inflatable part. The “Hook” is made of moulded plywood and soft PVC.Game Design, Industrial Design, Product Design2012 -

Micro Architecture for Children.
Because childhood is a time full of experiences and changes, kids need to develop their own space according to their personality and nature. “Yoodoo” is a micro archi- tecture consisting of a set of easy to use modules that one or several kids can assemble.
They strip the modules the same way they would strip the Velcro from their shoes! In that funny way, they enjoy building various areas such as a playground, a working space or any other creative areas.
“Yoodoo” is made of highly recy- clable materials; the structure is composed of bamboo and is bloc- ked by five layer cardboard sheets.Product Design2013
